North East Congo lion

North East Congo lion

The Northeast Congo Lion (Panthera Leo Azandica) is a subspecies of lion that lives in the grasslands of Northeast Congo. The Northeast Congo Lion once ranged throughout Northeast Congo but now is only in certain parts of Northeast Congo due to hunting and habitat destruction. The Northeast Congo Lion once numbered plentiful but in the last few decades their numbers have fallen to aout 50% less then their original numbers. The Northeast Congo Lion will almost eat anything but they prefer larger prey such as Zebra and Antelope. They hunt in groups in grassland areas in the northeast Congo.
