Norma Cossetto (Vižinada, 17 May 1920 - Tinjan or foiba of Villa Surani, 4 or 5 October 1943) was an Italian victim of foibe massacres and she is renowned personage because she was decorated with Gold medal for civilian bravery in memory.
Biography
Norma's father was a fascist politician and he was also podestà in Visinada but in 1943 he was an officer of Blackshirts in Trieste: he was assassinated few days after Norma's death.
In 1943 Norma was university student and, after Italy's armistice, Cossetto family was victim of various robberies by communist Italian and Slav partisans who entered Cossetto's home menacing them with guns.
