Nordic House (Iceland)

The Nordic House (Icelandic: Norræna húsið) is a building in Vatnsmýri, Reykjavík, Iceland, used by the Nordic Council to promote Nordic culture. The house was designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and was completed in 1968; it opened to the public in August the same year. The house hosts a variety of events every year, including lectures, exhibitions, conferences, meetings and concerts.
