- Non-road emissions
-
Non-road emissions refers to pollutants emitted by non-road engines and non-road vehicles, e.g., farm and construction equipment, gasoline-powered lawn and garden equipment, and power boats and outboard motors.
In the United States, Section 213 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7547), provides that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) can issue regulations to limit emissions from these sources.
