Noel Stagg is hurling and football player who has nicknames such as 'Noel the legend' and 'The only good thing to come out of Hollymount'. He was born in 1968. He resides in a small town, Hollymount in Mayo, Ireland. He is noted as one of the best Gaelic footballer's in Mayo football's history.[citation needed]

- 2 All-Ireland Titles with Mayo Masters.[1][2]
- 4 Mayo County Senior Championships with Hollymount.
- Captained Saint Colmans College hurling Team.

Personal life
He is married with son Ian and daughter an Amy, he owns a carpet shop.
