Nobutaka Shinomiya (四宮 信隆 Shinomiya Nobutaka?, born March 29, 1950) is a Japanese diplomat who currently serves as the Ambassador to the Portugal [1][2]. He previously served as the Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, and to the Republic of Haiti.

When the Haiti earthquake occurred, Ambassador Shinomiya has headed the Japanese emergency survey team.[3][4][5]
