Olga María del Carmen Sánchez Cordero Dávila de García Villegas is a Mexican jurist who has been a member of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN)[1] since January 1995.
Born in Mexico City, Sánchez Cordero studied law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She was appointed Minister (Associate Justice) of the Supreme Court by the Senate on January 26, 1995.
Sánchez Cordero was the first female notary public in Mexico City. She is the ninth woman to hold a seat on the Supreme Court.
Justice Sánchez has held several teaching positions throughout her career.
