Nikolay Georgiyevich Abramashvili (Russian: Никола́й Гео́ргиевич Абрамашви́ли) (December 28, 1918, born in Akhaldaba, Georgia — November 30, 1943) was a fighter pilot, who fought in the Great Patriotic War at Stalingrad Front as a member of 273-th Aviation Fighter regiment.
On November 30, 1942, in a fierce battle over Pitomnik Airfield, Captain Abramashvili's aircraft was shot down. He aimed the burning aircraft at a grouping of enemy military equipment and died, imposing serious damage on the enemy.
On September 21, 1995 Abramashvili was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation by President's decree.
