Nikoladze preparation

Nikoladze preparation is a guitar preparation technique firstly used and developed by a Georgian composer and violinist Koka Nikoladze in 2009. In this case an Acoustic guitar is prepared with a certain type of a light bulb and produces absolutely non acoustic sounds. It is hard to guess whether the sound is acoustic or synthetic even when analysing it in a very precise way. A good demonstration of this technique is a composition "Starshine~" for prepared guitar, violin and percussion.
