—The second season of Nikita, an American television drama based on the French film Nikita (1990), the remake Point of No Return (1993), and a previous series La Femme Nikita (1997), was announced on May 17, 2011,[1] which premiered on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 8:00 PM Eastern/7:00 PM Central.[2] The season will feature 23 episodes.[3]

Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) agrees to work with Division to find the people responsible for killing her family. Amanda (Melinda Clarke) is now running Division and Oversight has a new agent named Sean Pierce (Dillon Casey), to keep an eye on her. 24 2 "Falling Ash" Eagle Egilsson Kalinda Vasquez September 30, 2011 3X7152 1.73[5] Nikita and Michael run into Owen (Devon Sawa). He tells them he is searching for Dr. Joseph Mars (John Ralston), the mastermind behind P9, a old corrupt Division program and is also the creator of the Regimen. Michael is reluctant to trust Owen again, but Nikita decides the three should join forces. Percy (Xander Berkeley) who is now imprisoned under Division headquarters demands to speak to Alex. It is later revealed that Owen is working with Ari Tasarov (Peter Outerbridge) and Gogol in order to bring down Division. 25 3 "Knightfall" Ken Fink Carlos Coto October 7, 2011 3X7153 1.57[6] A black box file reveals that an international terrorist named Ramon (Simon Kassianides), who has been taking credit for some political assassinations, now works for Division. Nikita was the agent that captured Ramon years ago and turned him over to Percy. Amanda convinces Alex to kill Anton Kochenko (Paul Braunstein), a man who used to work for Alex's father and is responsible for letting Division murder her family. 26 4 "Partners" Dermott Downs Kristen Reidel October 14, 2011 3X7154 1.65[7] Nikita's old Division partner Kelly (Katheryn Winnick) has escaped from a Turkish prison. Nikita thought Kelly died years ago and feels responsible for her imprisonment, because it happened on the very mission that Nikita escaped from Division. Nikita tells Michael they have to go to Turkey to help her, knowing Amanda will go after her first. Alex and Roan (Rob Stewart) team up and go to Europe and try to stop Nikita and Kelly from reuniting. Kelly doesn't seem so innocent and Alex shows good faith and lets Michael and Nikita go after they fight. 27 5 "Looking Glass" Ken Girotti Albert Kim October 21, 2011 3X7155 1.69[8] Michael discovers that Cassandra (Helena Mattsson), a women he fell in love during a Division mission, is in danger. Feeling guilty for how things ended, he asks Nikita to help him help Cassandra. Alex and Sean team up to save a Division agent on a mission that Amanda originally assigned to Alex. In the end, it's revealed that Cassandra's son Max, is Michael's. 28 6 "343 Walnut Lane" Nick Copus Andrew Colville October 28, 2011 3X7156 1.77[9] While searching through a black box, Birkoff (Aaron Stanford) finds Nikita's birth certificate which ultimately leads to Nikita's father Richard (David Keith), but is the man really who he says he is. Alex gives Nikita inside information playing Percy, but she doesn't realize that Percy is playing her concerning information on the black box that could help her avenge her father's death. 29 7 "Clawback" Eagle Egilsson Michael Brandon Guercio November 4, 2011 3X7157 1.79[10] Division gets word that Ryan Flecther (Noah Bean) has been giving Nikita information from prison. Ryan makes a connection that Division has been making hits for Oversight to make a Wall Street raider (Matthew Glave) richer. Alex reunites with a childhood friend who is now working for Semak and ordered a hit on her. 30 8 "London Calling" Jeffrey Hunt Kalinda Vasquez November 11, 2011 3X7158 1.89[11] Michael goes to London to be with Cassandra's son Max, who is also his. He then learns that Cassandra is the target of a former general who feels that Cassandra is responsible for him not getting power after Cassandra's husband's death. Percy gives Alex information to get money from one of his off-shore accounts, enough money to get revenge on Semak without Division's assistance. 31 9 "Fair Trade" Nick Copus Carlos Coto November 18, 2011 3X7159 1.79[12] Nikita steals money from Oversight, forcing the committee to meet so that she can identity them. Unfortunately, Birkhoff is captured, forcing Nikita to exchange the black box for his life. Nikita also discovers that Senator Madeline Pierce (Alberta Watson, who also played the part of a character named Madeline in the former La Femme Nikita series), a Oversight member is Sean's mother.
