He also has served as Deputy-President of the Panafrican Press Association in France (APPA) as well as Special-Adviser to the President of the Panafrican Press Association in France (APPA).
He was formerly parliamentary assistant in France, deputy director of a French daily regional newspaper, as well as Representative in Europe of the Gabonese news agency GABONEWS.
In October 2007, Pompigne-Mognard was designated to serve as Secretary-General of the African Press Organization - APO. In September 2009 he was also designated to serve as Deputy-director of the Groupe Le Petit-Journal, a French daily newspaper published in 11 departements.
