Nicolae Ciupercă

Nicolae Ciupercă (born 1882, died 1950) was a Romanian General during World War II. He served as Minister of Defence in 1938, and General Officer Commanding 4th Army, Odessa in 1941. He retired in 1941, but was captured and put in prison in 1948. On May 25th, 1950, he died in Jilava prison. [1]
