New College Berkeley

New College Berkeley

New College Berkeley is a Christian tertiary institution located at 2029 Durant Ave, in Berkeley, California. It was founded in 1977 and is an affiliate of the Graduate Theological Union.[1] It focuses on providing interdisciplinary studies to equip lay Christians for active ministry.[2] It can be categorized as a "lay school of theology and ethics", together with other similar institutions such as Regent College in Vancouver, BC, the Toronto Institute for Christian Studies, New College, Madison, and the Christian Study Center in Charlottesville, VA.[3]
