January 1922-December 1930Personal details Political party Republican Nettie McKenzie Clapp (1868–1935) is a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives. She was one of the first women elected into the Ohio General Assembly in 1922.[1] Clapp was the first woman legislators to sponsor a bill[2] in the Ohio General Assembly and the first woman to serve on the Republican National Convention Executive Committee in 1924.
Clapp served in the Ohio Legislature from 1922-1930.
