Samuel O'Neil "Neil" Wilson (born June 14, 1935 in Lexington, Tennessee) was a Major League Baseball player, who played catcher for the San Francisco Giants in 1960.

Wilson was signed by the New York Giants in 1956. He spent parts of four years in the minor leagues before being on the opening day roster for the 1960 San Francisco Giants. Wilson appeared in six games and came to the plate eleven times before being demoted back to the minors on April 26, 1960. Wilson continued to play professional baseball through 1962 but never again appeared in the major leagues.

While playing for the Fresno Giants of the California League, Wilson was named league most valuable player for 1958.[1]
