Neil Harman (born April 9, 1957)[citation needed] is the tennis correspondent of The Times [1] a position he has held since 2002. Previously he was both football and tennis correspondent for The Daily Mail and a tennis correspondent for the Sunday Telegraph. He started his journalistic career on the Evening Echo (Southend) and also worked for the Birmingham Evening Mail.
In 2007, he became the first tennis writer to be awarded the Sports Journalists' Association's "Sports News Reporter of the Year" [2] also winning the ATP's Ron Bookman Award for Media Excellence in 2005.
He has written the Wimbledon annual since 2004 and is a former chairman of the British Lawn Tennis Writers' Association and a former president of the International Tennis Writers' Association.[3]
