Neharpar

Neharpar is a loose term which refers to residential sectors 75 to 89 in Faridabad, Haryana, India. Another common term used is Greater Faridabad. This area is being developed new, and hence will boast of wide roads, tall buildings, malls, educational institutions, health and commercial centers. It is very close to NOIDA, Greater NOIDA and Delhi. Faridabad has huge amount of central funding coming from Jawahar Lal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. Proposed development of this area as per reply from HUDA is December 2013. There was no development in this area for last 4 years. After sleeping for 4 years, HUDA was forced to wake up after residents getting RTI replies and media coverage. Now, it finds itself in land trouble with farmers.^[1][2] As per JNU Report, development should have been completed by 2011. Builders sold lot of residential dwellings on this premise and also on proposed expressways. As per RTI replies, proposed expressways either does not exist^[3] or getting delayed indefinitely. Moreover, high rise buildings up to 18 floors are coming in Neharpar, but Faridabad does not have services for controlling fire beyond 2nd floor, which is a shame for this NCR city.^[4]
