The Legendary Traxster (born
July 14 ,1973 as Samuel Lindey) is asongwriter and arecord producer . He is best known as the main producer ofTwista , or even more soDo or Die , who he produced nearly 4 albums for, including their Platinum CD "Picture This" featuring well-known Chicago artistTwista for the first time to the mainstream on "Po Pimp" as well as other Traxster beats such as "Money Flow" and " Paperchase," but has worked with other artists likeMariah Carey , co-writing and co-producing the track, "One & Only" on her 2005 released album, "The Emancipation of Mimi ". While his work was featured on Mariah Carey's album, he is mostly known for working with artists from within his own city of Chicago such asTwista ,Crucial Conflict , Triple Darkness, Psychodrama, E-Dub andSnypaz . As well as being known throughout his own city he has also produced for the likes ofMystikal ,Tech N9ne from Kansas City, mainstream rapperCam'ron ,E-40 and TheOutlawz from the Bay Area. Traxster also has a brother Dun D who recently died onJanuary 1 2006. Also owner and CEO of CWAL Records. He started out in the rap duo D to tha S which released two maxi-singles titled "Doomsday" and "My Brothaz Keepa" released in 1994 and 1996 respectively.As of 2008, Traxster has been active in working on multiple projects at the same time after releasing his double-disc "The Return of Gangsta Music" on iTunes. Some of these projects include: DaWreck of Triple Darkness, E-Dub, and the much anticipated Trunk Music from Do or Die.
In July 2008, it was reported that Traxster would be re-uniting with Twista to produce his next album, reminiscent of the classic
Adrenaline Rush album, which he produced in its entirety.External links
