The Natural Resources Agencies office building was constructed on behalf of the State of Washington and is located within the existing East Capitol Campus Complex in Olympia, Washington. The 777,000-square-foot (72,200 m2) project consolidated the administrative offices for the three different departments (Fisheries, Agriculture, and Natural Resources) into a 328,000-square-foot (30,500 m2) building. Also included is a 449,000-square-foot (41,700 m2) parking garage for 1,360 vehicles.
The building was designed by Fentress Architects and received an award from the Architecture and Energy Building Excellence in the northwest Awards Program.[citation needed]
