National Forum

National Forum

National Forum is a political party in Georgia, formed on December 15, 2006. Kakhaber Shartava, chairman of the party, is the son of Georgian national hero Jiuli Shartava.

Other party leaders are: former Chairman of the Chamber of Control Shavishvili, an expert on economic issues in the Niko Orvelashvili (died January 15, 2010); and former members of the Union of Traditionalists, Irakli Melashvili and Gubaz Sanikidze. Party political council of the organizational members are: Kakhaber Shartava, Gubaz Sanikidze, Shavishvili Irakli Melashvili Nodar Javakhishvili, and Irakli Gobejishvili.
