Nathan Hofheins is a composer who has done film music among other things. He was one of the additional composers for the music for the film, The Work and the Glory. He also orchestrated the music for the TV mini-series The Triangle in 2005. Hofheins has also arranged several songs included on CDs produced by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Hofheins also arranged the version of Evan Stephens' Utah We Love Thee performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at the rededication of the Utah State Capitol.[1]
In 2007 the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performance of How Great Thou Art as arranged by Hofheins won a Pearl Award from the Faith Centered Music Association.[2]
Hofheins is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
Hofheins has also done orchestration for some of the sound tracks of Xena Warrior Princess.[3] He has also made an arrangement of Michael Moody's He Sent His Son.[4]
