Biography
Natalia Gherman is the daughter of the former president of Moldova Mircea Snegur. She served as Ambassador to Austria, Permanent Representative to the OSCE and other International Organisations in Vienna (2002–2006) and Ambassador to Sweden, Norway, and Finland, with residence in Stockholm (2006–2009).
On June 29, 2009, she was appointed deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration on the proposal by Minister Andrei Stratan.[1] In November 2009, Natalia Gherman was designated as chief negotiator on behalf of Moldova in the talks over the new cooperation agreement with the European Union.[2]
