Nasser Fakouhi

Nasser Fakouhi (born 1956 in Tehran) is an Iranian anthropologist, writer and translator.

Fakouhi received his PDF in Political anthropology from the Sorbonne in Paris 1994. He received a Masters of anthropology in society science college in Tehran university and became Headmaster of Anthropology and Culture.[1]. He is a member of the International Society of Sociology Iranian Studies[2] and has several works about anthropology including ideas from Urban anthropology and other anthropology branches. He has participated in several discussions and interviews about anthropology, including interviews with Iranian elites such as Abdollah Kowthari, Ramin Jahanbegloo, Ali Boloukbashi, Shahla Haeri etc.[3]. Ramin Jahanbegloo, in an article in the Indian Express website, compared Fakouhi to Javad Tabatabai, Babak Ahmadi, Hamid Azodanloo, Moosa Ghaninejad and Fatemeh Sadeghi of Dialogical intellectual, saying they are in contrast to intellectuals of 1970s and 1980s.[4]
