Nadia Zenith Menco Heriquez (born January 27, 1982) is a contemporary visual artist, poet, and actress.
She is the fifth daughter of Isabel Heriquez and Ismael Menco. When she was 16, her family moved to Bogotá, because of the Colombian Armed Conflict. With her twin sister joined to the Colombian Corporation of Theatre, where they studied with teachers like Carlos Satizabal, Diana Casas and the great master Patricia Ariza.
She became a highly influential by the Nadaísmo and the human rights, and based her work in her suffering as a displaced woman affected by the Colombian war conflict.
Her family survived to attacks and took political asylum in Chile, where she inmediately met intellectuals like the poets Jose Maria Memet and Raul Zurita, helped them organize Chilepoesía.
She studied journalism in the University of America and figure human drawing with the famous Chilean painter Carmen Silva.
She is well known as the next Frida Kahlo in the New York underground artistic circuit, because of her uniques performances and ideas.[1] [2] [3]
