- Rolls-Royce Buzzard
The Rolls-Royce Buzzard was a British piston aero-engine of 36.7
litre s capacity generating about 800 hp (600 kW). It had 12 cylinders in a 'V' configuration of 6 inchbore and 6.6 inch stroke. It was manufactured in the late 1920s, but only 100 were sold, mostly for racing. It was also referred to as the H engine, which was developed into theSchneider Trophy engine, the R. It was developed by scaling-up the Kestrel in the ratio of 5:6.Applications
