Nagnath S. Inamdar

Nagnath S. Inamdar (Marathi: नागनाथ सं. इनामदार) (1923–2002) was a Marathi novelist.

He was born in a village in Satara district of Maharashtra, India.

He wrote sixteen historical novels. The following is a partial list of them:

  • Jhep (झेप)
  • Raau (राऊ)
  • Jhunja (झुंज)
  • Rajeshri (राजेश्री)
  • Shikasta (शिकस्त)
  • Shahenshah (शहेनशहा)
  • Mantravegala (मंत्रावेगळा)


He also wrote his autobiography in three volumes.

He presided over Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in Ahmednagar in 1997.
