- Sol Invictus (Mythos)
-
In the fictional world of Mythos in the trading card name "Mythos: World of Wonder", Sol Invictus is the supreme deity, and is regarded as the father of the light elves by the Imperial cult of the Romassus Empire. Sol Invictus is responsible for the creation of the universe, and is the most powerful beings in the Mythos world.
Creation Story of Mythos
According to the writings of the Romassian priest and writer Quintillius, Sol Invictus had his beginnings when the universe was young. In the beginning of time, there was no physical matter or energy and there was nothing but a pure vacuum. However, according to popular belief (according to Quintillius), there is a spiritual driving force in these early days of the universe known as "Fate". Fate decides the outcome of the universe, and Fate's reasons for what happens in the phsycical universe must not always have a scientific basis. As such, from the early darkness came the first amount of light. This light was the first amount of physical energy ever in the universe. Eventually over a few hundred years the physical light and the spiritual Fate combined into a physical-spiritual form of a star. This star could determine Fate and eventually gained personification. The personified light became Sol Invictus, who would eventually create the rest of the physical universe.
