Paris, FranceSpouse Horst Buchholz (m. 1958–2003) Myriam Bru (born 20 April 1930, Paris France)[1] was an actress and the wife of German actor Horst Buchholz, to whom she was married from 1958 until his death in 2003. She appeared in Auferstehung (a film based on the novel Resurrection) in 1958. On the set of Auferstehung in 1957 she met Buchholz; they were married in London the following year. Earlier films included Eran Trecento (They Were 300), Wild Wild Women, Ouvert Contre X in 1951, Une Fille Dans Le Soleil in 1952, Cento Anni D'amore (100 Years Of Love), Casa Ricordi (House of Ricordi) and Les Deux Orphelines in 1954, Vacances A Ischia and the four-part series Of Life and Love in 1957.[2] Nella città l'inferno was her last film, made in Italy before her retirement from acting. She later became a theatrical agent in Paris.[3]
Her father was a Jew who was imprisoned at Auschwitz. She had two children.[3]
