My Friend the Moon (1987) is a children's picture book by Andre Dahan. It is the story of a man who, out on a midnight row, befriends the moon. The moon then falls into the sea while trying to show off to his new friend. The little man saves the moon and brings him home to recover, where the two sing, dance, read, eat, and finally sleep through the rest of the night. The next day the man befriends the sun, who he also brings home to share in the frivolities.

The story could be considered appropriate for all age with older readers being able to appreciate the humour and artistry present.
