The Musée de minéralogie (Museum for mineralogy) is a museum in Strasbourg in the Bas-Rhin department of France. It belongs to the University of Strasbourg, of which is displays the historical collections of minerals.
Gems and stones from France, former GDR and FRG, former USSR (most notably Russia), Romania and USA are exposed there. The museum hosts a moulage of the largest single piece gold found (a 68kg gold piece found in Australia). A special interest represents the "box with fluorescent stones", with minerals lightened by ultra-violet rays.
The museum is located in the Paleontology and Mineralogy faculty building of the University of Strasbourg.
