Muntaner is a station from the Barcelona Metro network, operated by FGC and belonging to the Metro del Vallès (Metro of the Vallès) lines. It is located in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona.
The current station was opened on 1929 when the Sarrià train was covered. The station would not be conceived as a metropolitan trains station until 1954 when the line from Gràcia to the Avinguda Tibidavo was opened, and some years later when Sarrià was connected to Reina Elisenda.
