Barbarita (natalia Streignard) is beautiful girl living in miami with her adopted Aunt Caridad when she falls in love with Valentino a rich man who only gets involved with her as a way to annoy his mother. He then marries her but he dies in a car accident on the way to the honeymoon. Ricarda Valentina's mother blames barbarita for her sons death and send her son Antonio Adolfo (Mario Cimarro) to get revenge on barbarita for his brother's death but instead he falls for Barbarita. Synopsis:

Barbarita is a sweet and modest young woman,who works in a fashion boutique in Miami.As a part of her work she meets the rich widow Ricarda Thompson,in her home Barbarita meets her oldest son-Valentino.He is single and dishonest man,who always gets what he wants.He makes Barbarita to fall in love with him after some time she is deeply in love .Unexpectedly ,Valentino also has fallen in love with her and they marry secretly. But on the wedding night they have a car accident and Valentino dies,Barbarita has just a few bruises. When the powerful mother of Valentino-Ricarda Thompson gets to know what has happened to her son,she blames Barbarita for the death of Valentino.She creates a cruel plan in order to get revenge :her younger son Antonio-Adolfo will seduce Barbarita and when she falls in love with him,he will abandon her.But what he doesn't know is that he will very deeply fall in love with Barbarita,and later he is convinced that she has no guilty about the death of Valentino.Antonio Adolfo and Barbarita plan to get married,but all of a sudden Valentino appears,he is alive.He faked his death in order to avoid being exposed for embezzlement of the family's company funds and he is back to claim his wife and fortune.
