Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont House

Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont House

The Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont House was a mansion located on 477 Madison Avenue and the northeast corner of 51st Street in New York City, New York, USA.

It was originally constructed for the wife of socialite Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont, Alva Belmont. Back then, wives and widows often used their husband's name with a "Mrs." added on back during the course of their era. Society would often simply know them like that without even learning their own first names.

The mansion was demolished after Mrs. Belmont sold it in 1923.
