Mount Lorius is a mountain, 1,690 metres (5,540 ft), standing 2.5 nautical miles (2.9 mi; 4.6 km)) north of Mount Allison, in the Monument Nunataks. Mapped by the United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) Victoria Land Traverse Party, 1959-60. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Claude Lorius, French glaciologist, a member of the traverse party.
