Mount Janetschek is a mountain, 1,455 m, standing between Mount Larsen and Widowmaker Pass at the south side of the mouth of Reeves Glacier, in Victoria Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1955-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Heinz Janetschek, biologist at McMurdo Station, 1961-62 season.
