Mount Gawn

Mount Gawn (71°55′S 165°11′E / 71.917°S 165.183°E / -71.917; 165.183) is a prominent peak (2,190 m) in the central part of King Range in northwest Victoria Land. Named by the northern party of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1963–64, for J.E. Gawn, radio operator at Scott Base, 1963–64, who maintained radio schedules with the party.
