Mount Faget

Mount Faget (71°44′S 168°26′E / 71.733°S 168.433°E / -71.733; 168.433) is a mountain (3,360 m) 4 nautical miles (7 km) northwest of Mount Adam in the Admiralty Mountains, Victoria Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Maxime A. Faget of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), a visitor at McMurdo Station, 1966-67.
