Mount Ester

Mount Ester (82°18′S 155°4′E / 82.3°S 155.067°E / -82.3; 155.067) is a mountain over 2,200 m, surmounting the western part of McKay Cliffs in the Geologists Range. Mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1960-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Donald W. Ester, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) geologist at McMurdo Station, 1962-63.
