Mount Damm

Mount Damm (82°36′S 162°37′E / 82.6°S 162.617°E / -82.6; 162.617) is a snow-covered mountain, 1,130 m, between Heidemann and Nottarp Glaciers in the Queen Elizabeth Range. Mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1960-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Robert Damm, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) biologist at McMurdo Station, 1963-64.
