On June 24, 2011, Motega won her first start and defeated 7 opponents. She broke her maiden in a Maiden Special Weight going 4½ furlongs at Mountaineer Racetrack and stopped the tele-timer in 0:53.98. She was ridden by Jareth Loveberry, carried 118 lbs and won by 2 3/4 lengths. She earned $10,560 of the $17,600 purse. [1]
On July 10, 2011, Motega won a 5 1/2 furlongs Hoover Stakes beating the colts by 17 lengths at River Downs Racetrack.[2]
On July 23, 2011, Motega stopped the tele-timer in 1:08.39 in Tah Dah Stakes at River Downs Racetrack. She was ridden by Jareth Loveberry and won by 4 3/4 of a length carrying 120 lbs.[3]
On August 27,2011, Motega won the 6 furlongs long Miss Ohio Stakes. She meet the small field (only 3 other horse, 4 other horses were scratched). She won the race easily by 8 1/2 lenghhs.
