Mosley-Thompson Cirques (78°1′S 161°28′E / 78.017°S 161.467°E) is a cirque named after Ellen Stone Mosley-Thompson, glaciologist, Byrd Polar Research Center, Ohio State University. Since 1974, Dr. Thompson has analyzed ice samples from Antarctica and conducted field research at South Pole, Siple Station, and Plateau Remote Camp.
