Rabbi Moshe Meshullam Horowitz Halevy 1832-1894 was an Hasidic Scholar of the Hasidic Ashkanazi Rabbinic dynasty of Cracow Poland.[citation needed]
He studied and taught Talmudic studies in Cracow before moving to London.[citation needed]
He is related to Karl Marx[citation needed] and also claims desent from Royal King David from Biblical Times.[citation needed]
He is also related to the famous German composer Mendelssohn.[citation needed] He is also possibly related to Rabbi Elazer Moshe Horowitz Halevi 19th century author of HaGahot R'Moshe Elazer Talmud[1][not in citation given].
