Mosh Giant

Mosh Giant

Mosh is the BMX division of Giant Manufacturing Co. Ltd created in 1996 by Giant helped by Linn Kastan and AA Pro racer Jason Richardson. In 2002 Giant signed a 3 year sponsor deal with Satellite a company that then managed the former GT Air Show and began making Giant branded bikes in an effort to boost the Giant label and therefor making it an underground company to adapte the BMX market.

Giant made bikes using the Mosh name until 2003 when it switched to Giant. Mosh is used to labeling all high end freestyle specific to street, skatepark and dirt riding and simply rename it MOSH PARTS. the mosh part and the Mosh team ATE managed independently from Giant Bikes. The Team mostly changed in 2003 when the company decided to repositioning in his market. As its for 2008, with Mike Ardelean who quit for United Bike, a major part of the team have been changed again There is still a bike made today that carry the name of an original Mosh in Giant's line up, the (Method) though it is set up for dirt/trail and not race/dirt as was the original.

Mosh had a logo before the one it carries now, they started with a simple lower case M in Ghost Gothic font, this usually has an inverted kite around it. The newer style is a different type of front with nothing around it, sort of like a star.

Mosh played a big role in the BMX industry by changing some standard by choosing rider not only for their ability but for their unique style, which made some other company follow this path to make the sport we have today.
