Morton Glacier is a glacier, 15 nautical miles (28 km) long, descending eastward from Holland Range between Vaughan Promontory and Lewis Ridge to the Ross Ice Shelf Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Commander John A. Morton, officer in charge of U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6 Detachment ALFA, which wintered at McMurdo Station, 1964.
