Morse Nunataks

Morse Nunataks (84°16′S 160°50′E / 84.267°S 160.833°E / -84.267; 160.833) is an isolated rock nunataks standing 4.5 nautical miles (8 km) south of Mount Achernar, between Lewis Cliff and MacAlpine Hills. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Oliver C. Morse III, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) ionospheric scientist at South Pole Station, 1960.
