Morgan Matthews is an English, factual director. He is the founder of Minnow Films and has won many awards, including a BAFTA for his documentary ‘The Fallen’.
Matthews first spent five years working for Century Films, where some of his most famous films were; Care House (2003), Rude Girls (2004) and Quitters (2005). He then made a two part series called ‘My Crazy Parents’ and a full length documentary called ‘Taxidermy: Stuff the World (2005)’. In 2005 he joined Blast! Films and directed ‘ Blue Suede Jew’, ‘Hair Wars, Million Dollar Pigeon ‘(2007) and ‘Beautiful Young Minds’.
In 2006 he founded Minnow Films. His first full length documentary was called ‘ Battleship Antarctica’. He then directed ‘The Fallen’, where won a BAFTA for Best factual director and a RTS for the best documentary.
Matthews filmed a documentary revolving around the making of David Yates' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Part 2 from 2009-2010.
