Morelli Glacier

Morelli Glacier (72°59′S 102°38′W / 72.983°S 102.633°W / -72.983; -102.633) is a glacier in the west part of King Peninsula, 18 nautical miles (33 km) southeast of Cape Waite, draining northeast to Abbot Ice Shelf in Peacock Sound. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Panfilo S. Morelli, glaciologist at Byrd Station, 1961-62.
