Moofaces is a multimedia social networking website and an internet database for the entertainment industry. Moofaces provides tools for people involved in the entertainment industry to showcase and sell their work globally.^{[citation needed]} Founded in 2007, the company is own and operated by Moofaces Productions, LLC, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

History

The idea of Moofaces was created in the summer of 2007 by Tavares Fennell and its beta version released within a few months in order to experiment its targeted audience's and general public's response.^{[citation needed]} Moofaces in its original Beta phase name was once Moosicaltransaction.com which was used primarily for job hunting, blogging, linking to personal work archives and many people has used it for its self-generating portfolio capability.^{[citation needed]}

Tavares, confided with his roommate Brandon Gibson(Jay) in 2007 about the idea and he joined forces with him. They didn't know a lot about web development at the time so they went to a friend of a friend Adam Shaw a local web designer. Adam helped out with the vision Tavares had dreamed of and then lead him to meet Matt Hudson a local web developer.^{[citation needed]}

Matt helped out on the process of the development of Moosicaltransaction.com and Moofaces.^{[citation needed]} And later Tavares added another person to the scope Pedro de Abreu From Brazil. Tavares, Brandon and Pedro felt it was time to step it up in 2008 and packed up to move to Los Angeles, California to launch Moofaces.^{[citation needed]} When arriving in Los Angeles in the late summer of August 1, 2008 the three notice a decline in the economy and Moofaces was still not developed completely. So the three worked odd jobs to make ends meet.^{[citation needed]}

Along the way, they added a local developer whiz Richard Maya as a Lead web developer. By this time Tavares had join local university to learn more about web development. Tavares had a very creative mind and easy learning personality mixed with a burst of passion for his new idea. Sadly, Tavares and Brandon's new found friend Pedro decided to leave and attend schooling back in his home town. This left Tavares, Richard and Brandon at the table and later joining forces with new employees on the team.

Moofaces is currently located in Los Angeles, California.

The Moofaces enterprise concentrates on making people assume a professional perspective when they come into business, providing the necessary tools for their expansion and promotion. By exposing people to a professional environment of the professional and aspiring.^{[citation needed]}

Moofaces also plans on launching Moofaces.com out from its beta phase version in 2010.

Moofaces TV

Moofaces TV is an online music and entertainment internet television. Moofaces TV launched in 2009 and is a part of Moofaces.com. Numerous celebrities have been on Moofaces Tv such as Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Fergie, Snoop Dogg, Josh Duhamel, 50 Cent to name a few.^{[citation needed]}
