Moody Nunatak

Moody Nunatak (83°7′S 159°30′E / 83.117°S 159.5°E / -83.117; 159.5) is a prominent isolated nunatak at the east side of Marsh Glacier, 4 nautical miles (7 km) west of Bartrum Plateau, Queen Elizabeth Range. Named by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE) (1964–65) for Lieutenant D.M. Moody, pilot with U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6, who flew the southern party of NZGSAE in and out of the field.
