MOO Studios is a film production company located in Hollywood, California. Originally called Holy Cow Films, it was founded in London in 1999 by Gavin Emerson. Holy Cow’s first feature film, Ratcatcher was shortlisted at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival. Holy Cow US, along with owners David Lyons and Emerson was best known for producing print campaigns for clients such as Prada, Jil Sander, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani, etc. In 2001 Holy Cow US separated with Emerson and changed it’s name to Moo Studios. Emerson continued with Holy Cow Films in the UK.
Moo’s client list includes Revlon, Clinique, Xbox, JCPenney, Lubriderm, McDonalds, Absolut Vodka, Victoria’s Secret and more.
Moo Studios was once the sister company to Moo Management, representing photographers including Matt Jones, Tierney Gearon, Stephen Berkman, Jock Sturges and François Halard.
Moo represents exclusively for film celebrity photographer/directors Ellen von Unwerth and Pamela Hanson as well as directors Shaun Sewter, Adam Byrd, Martin Fougerol, Patrick Bowyer, Andrew Huang, and Anthony Rose.
